Frequently Asked Questions

Participants are expected to bring their own pickleball paddle. Each court will start each week with a new Franklin X-40 Outdoor ball supplied by the league.

Registration for each session is $30 per player, and must be paid to secure your spot in the league. These funds go toward pizza at league socials and playoffs, new balls for all league nights, and post-season tournament prizes.

Each division will be made up of 4-8 teams, each with 6-8 players. Teams will be assigned by the League Coordinators. While registering, participants can list up to two other players they wish to be on the same team with. We will do our best to form teams with these preferences in mind. Teams will be co-ed and named by color.

Each week every team will be assigned an opposing team (e.g., Week 1 - Team Blue vs. Team Red). Each team will have a Team Captain responsible for weekly line-ups and submitting scores. If a member is absent, a teammate can play twice, or a substitute can be arranged with the coordinator.

Beginner: Tuesdays, four time slots: 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm
Intermediate: Thursdays, four same time slots
Advanced: Wednesdays, same four time slots

Players attend only for their 1-hour slot but may stay to socialize. Each match is best 2 out of 3 games to 11 (win by 2). Rules: Official Pickleball Rules. Teams can continue exhibition play after matches.

Captains set and communicate weekly line-ups, and submit scores via a league spreadsheet. This is a volunteer role — contact the League Coordinators at NHVPickleball@gmail.com if you're interested in helping out!

If weather is poor, matches will be canceled and communicated via TeamReach and email. If more than two games are canceled, we’ll add makeup games before playoffs.

Let your captain know as early as possible. Each team assumes some players will miss a week. If needed, another teammate can play twice, or a sub can be used from our sub list.

Weekly rankings are based on:

  • Overall Match Win/Loss
  • 1st Tie-Breaker: Head-to-Head
  • 2nd Tie-Breaker: Total Points
All play is self-officiated.

Annual Tournament

Every fall, we host our annual tournament to bring players together for fun and friendly competition.

Last year, we hosted Dink to End DV, raising $7,039 for The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services.

The Umbrella Center provides critical support and resources to partners and families affected by domestic violence.

T-Shirt Orders

We offer T-shirt and gear orders at least once a year. For the latest updates and ordering info, please check our Facebook Group.
